The Khmer Bag is a tribute to the Khmer people and their celestial protector—the Moon God. Handwoven from hemp by the H'Mong of Vietnam's northern highlands and lined with recycled canvas, this bag combines tradition with modern flair. With a diameter of 12 inches, it’s practical yet poetic.
Inspired by Ok Om Bok, the Moon Worship Festival, this design celebrates the Khmer’s reverence for the Moon, which they believe blesses them with bountiful harvests and prosperity. Each Hemp Oi creation tells a story, honoring Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups through thoughtful design. The Khmer Bag isn’t just an accessory; it’s a cultural homage, crafted with care!
